How did Park Shin-hye become Lee Hong-ki’s first radio guest?

FT Island member Lee Hong-ki held a press conference for his KBS Cool FM radio show, “Lee Hong-ki’s Kiss The Radio,” at the KBS Art-hall in Seoul on Monday.

During the press conference, Lee said that his first guest will be actress Park Shin-hye. Asked about the choice, he said, “I’m very close with her. So, when I came back from my overseas holiday and became a DJ, I asked for her help. She asked when I first air and promised that she would come. I was very surprised and grateful.”

Lee said, “It kind of felt like she was returning the favor after I sent her a food cart when she was filming her drama. Good thing I treated her so nicely first.”

The first episode of the program will air starting from Monday at 10 p.m. on KBS Cool FM.

Cha Tae-hyun, KimYoo-jung to promote ‘Because I Love You’ live

Actor Cha Tae-hyun and actress Kim Yoo-jung will promote an upcoming film “Because I Love You” live on the Naver V app movie channel Thursday at 6 p.m.

In a minute-long clip released Wednesday, Cha recommended the movie talk session to those who crave for love. The two are expected to answer fans’ questions on the romantic comedy flick through a live chat box on the Naver V app.

“Because I Love You” centers on a duo consisting of a composer with amnesia Jin Yi-hyung, played by Cha, and his assistant Skully, acted by Kim. The duo helps people from various walks of life who are frustrated with love.

The rom-com flick will open in local theaters in November.
