از دهه 60 ميلادي كره جنوبي رشد اقتصادي را تجربه كرد و در حال حاضر يكي از كشورهاي پيشرفته از نظر اقتصادي در قاره آسياست. كارخانه‌هاي فراوان توليد ماشين و تجهيزات الكترونيكي چرخ‌هاي اقتصاد اين كشور را به چرخش واداشته‌اند.توليد ناخالص داخلي كره 1.206 تريليون دلار است كه بيشتر آن در بخش‌هاي صنعت و خدمات توليد،مي‌شود. 24.01 ميليون نفر نيروي كار آن را تشكيل مي‌دهند و نرخ بيكاري در آن 2.9 درصد است.15 درصد از مردم آن زير خط فقر زندگي مي‌كنند.محصولات صادراتي آن شامل نيمه‌رساناها، تجهيزات ارتباطات بي‌سيم، وسايل نقليه موتوري،كامپيوتر، آهن، كشتي و مشتقات نفتي است كه بيشتر به كشورهاي چين (22 درصد)، آمريكا (12.5درصد) و ژاپن (7.1 درصد) صادر مي‌شود.محصولات وارداتي آن شامل ماشين‌آلات، تجهيزات الكترونيكي، نفت، آهن، تجهيزات حمل‌و‌نقل وپلاستيك است كه از چين (17.7 درصد)، ژاپن (16 درصد)، آمريكا (10.7 درصد) و عربستان سعودي (5.9 درصد) مي‌آيد.

سياست در كره‌جنوبي

در انتخابات مارس 1960، رhي براي چهارمين بار به رياست جمهوري انتخاب شد ولي در مقابل

تظاهرات دانشجويان و شورش مردم استعفاء داد. در سال 1961 گروهي از نظاميان تحت رهبري

ژنرال پارك چونگ هي قدرت را دردست گرفتند.

حكومت ژنرال چونگ هي 18 سال به طول انجاميد. مناسبات سياسي عادي بين ژاپن و كره جنوبي با

عقد پيماني درسال 1965 برقرارشد. درسال 1979، پارك چونگ هي بوسيله رئيس سازمان امنيت

كشورترور شد و پس از تشنجات فراواني سرانجام قدرت به دست ژنرال چون دوهوان رسيد.

در حال حاضر رئيس جمهور اين كشور «لي ميونگ باك» است و نخست وزير آن «رو موو هيوان».

قوه مقننه اين كشور از يك مجلس ملي با 231 عضو براي يك دوره 6 ساله تشكيل شده است. قانون

اساسي موجود در سال 1948 تدوين شده و در سال 1972 اصلاحاتي بر آن افزوده شده استبراساس

آخرين تقسيمات كشوري، كره جنوبي از 9 استان و دو شهر ويژه تشكيل شده كه زيرنظر فرماندار

انتصابي دولت مركزي اداره مي‌شود.

‘A lot of my opinions went into my solo album’: Lee Gi-kwang

The upcoming solo album for Lee Gi-kwang will contain a lot of his personality, the Highlight members said during an interview with Elle magazine.
After a photo shoot, Lee said that producers of the album reflected his opinion on the cover art, track list and music video. “I guess I can‘t be extremely pleased with it, but I did my best,” he said.

Gu Ha-ra wants to costar with Lee Jong-suk

K-pop singer Gu Ha-ra features in an extensive fashion shoot and an interview with a Korean entertainment news website, in which she showed an interest in acting.

When asked what kind of acting project should would like to try, the singer said, "I've thought about acting in a cunning but outwardly innocent role," like the role actress Jun Ji-hyun played in the hit drama series "My Love from the Star."
Gu said that she could like to costar with Lee Jong-suk, who is known for his lead roles in romantic comedies.

The 24-year-old singer is preparing to release her solo album in July, while girl group KARA, of which she is a member, will release their next Japanese album "Summergic" next month.

Park Shin-hye stars in Bruno Magli photos

Fashion accessories brand Bruno Magli released photos of actress Park Shin-hye from the set of an advertising photoshoot, Wednesday.
Park has modeled for Bruno Magli for the past year and also advertised the Italian brand in her latest hit TV drama "Pinocchio

The three photos released by the brand show the actress holding the brand's handbags and purses.
Bruno Magli regularly releases photos featuring the popular actress to promote its brand. The summer ads are set to launch soon.

Lee Jong-suk on playing a delicate serial killer

Actor Lee Jong-suk has very pale skin. It’s so milky white that for his television drama roles, his makeup artist uses a darker foundation to give him more color, Lee says.
But in the new thriller “V.I.P,” which opens in local theaters Wednesday, director Park Hoon-jung decided that Lee’s pearly complexion would suit his role as the chilling North Korean serial killer Kim Kwang-il.

Park Seo-joon exudes charisma with fall fashion

Actor Park Seo-joon exuded charisma in a fashion spread for men’s clothing released Tuesday.
Sporting the theme “Use your illusion, more stories,” the actor showed various fall looks for Ziozia, including a leather jacket and black suit matched with a turtleneck sweater.
The actor was recently selected as the brand’s new spokesmodel to succeed Kim Soo-hyun, who had represented the brand since 2012.
“Though it was the first photo shoot for him, Park Seo-joon perfectly expressed the concept of the brand wonderfully,” a company representative said
